Banana Bread

I love to bake Banana Bread- this is one of very easy baking dish. During summer, bananas get ripe very fast, and before you trash them, you can make wonderful bread out of it. This goes very well with vanilla ice cream or just with coffee or tea.

Ingredients:
 
  •  3-4         Banans (ripe) 
  •  2 cups    Whole wheat flour ( you can use all purpose flour too)
  •  1 cup      Sugar
  •  8tsps     Butter ( room temprature )
  •  2           Eggs
  •  1tsp      Baking powder
  •  1/4 tsp  Salt
  • 1tsp       vanilla extract
  • 1/4cups  walnuts 
  • 2-3tsp   whole oats 
  1. Pre-heat oven on 350F*
  2. In a medium bowl mash 3-4 bananas ( I would use more than 4 but 4 bananas are good enough for this recipe find ),
  3. Sift your flour, baking powder and salt in another bowl,
  4. Get another bowl; mix butter and sugar with a hand-mixer on medium speed till it gets a little fluffy and light and sugar get well mix with butter,
  5. Now mix all three bowls together- add some banana in to your butter mixer and some flour do it in some batches, it would be  three to four times ,
  6. When everything get mix well give a good whisk with your spatula make sure you don't break air from it and add nuts I like walnuts ( you can add some flaxseeds, Blueberry or  chocolate chips too ), 
  7. Grease one 5x9 backing bowl  with butter,
  8. Add your banana bread batter in to your baking bowl,
  9. Put some whole oats on top ,
  10. Bake on 350f* for 1hour and 5 min
  11. Once it's baked let it cool for 30-40 min before you eat.
  12. This bread is very good with vaniila icream , strawberry jam or simply with some coffee.
