Today I would like to share a recipe for Smoothie Bowl which I have learned from my Teenager.
It's very simple, yummy and it's perfect for summer time, for lunch,or for a light dinner. Athletes can eat it as post workout meal for energy boost. It doesn't have any artifical sugar and excessive carbs.
As it's very light, it also has a pack of nutrients and antioxidants. Anyone can make it!
Total time: 15min
Ingredients:
- Strawberries: ½ cup
- Blueberries: ¼ cup
- Raspberries: ¼ cup
- Sunflower seeds: 1Tsp
- Chia seeds: 1tsp
- Papaya seeds: 1Tsp
- Dry bananas chips: couple
- Dry cranberries:1 tsp
- Corn flakes: 3-4 Tsp
- Roasted Nuts: 2 Tsp
- Honey: 2 Tsp
- Ice : ¼ to ½ cup (as needed)
- First of all wash all your berries.
- Now in your mixer-grinder jar, add all your berries, half of your ice, and chunk it for till all of the berries and make a smoothie.
- Now add your honey and grind it one more time (at this point if you feel like it then you can add rest of your ice but don't make it too liquidy). The honey gets mixed with all berries
- Take one soup bowl and add your smoothie in it
- On top of the smoothie add all your dry ingredients as toppings (garnishe it)
- And here is your smoothie bowl- ready to enjoy it!
For this recipe I would like to give credit to Kavya Bhavsar
Tips:
You can add ½ of banana, apple, or avocado in your smoothie bowl.
If you can't find fresh berries use frozen berries, and you might not need ice to make your smoothie!
